Notes about the Church St Luke's was built in 1870-1 as a memorial to Bishop Lonsdale (as per Kelly's Directory of 1895). Its address is Parliament Street, but it is more visible from Stockbrook Street. It has a very tall tower, in common with several other Derby city churches.
