Notes about the Church	The current building for Holy Trinity Buildwas dates from 1720 and replaced a medieval church. We'll be celebrating our church tercentenary in 2020. It has been at the heart of the village for centuries; and it has an interesting history with close ties to Buildwas Abbey (which it used to belong to); and also to families who lived in Ironbridge and Coalbrookdale (where the Industrial Revolution started).
