| Notes about the Church | The Diss Union Baptist sect was established some time around 1780 and covered not just the Diss area of Norfolk but also adjacent Suffolk. The present Tabernacle in Cock Street was erected in 1840 after the period of this register. This single surviving register was deposited at the National Archives where it carries their reference RG8/80. |
