The FreeREG Norfolk Transcription team has added 40014 records in the past few weeks. On 17 Jan 2010 there were 2 917 577 records in the database. (1 585 654 baptisms, 355 138 marriages and 976 785 burials) A really really big thank you to all of our volunteer transcribers, converters and contributors. With the approval of the Norfolk Record Office, the Fenland Museum, The National Archive, and the Norfolk and Norwich Archaeological Society, and now the National Archive, I am able to provide on-loan copies of a parish register from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for transcription in the comfort of your home.

ATs are copies of registers sent to the bishop each year - they are generally patchy with missing years.
