The FreeREG Norfolk Transcription team has added 30 617 records in the past few weeks. On 3 Aug 2010 there were 3 277 370 records in the database. (1 784 776 baptisms, 400 526 marriages and 1 092 068 burials) A really really big thank you to all of our volunteer transcribers, converters and contributors. With the approval of the Norfolk Record Office, the Fenland Museum, The National Archive, and the Norfolk and Norwich Archaeological Society, and now the National Archive, I am able to provide on-loan copies of a parish register from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for transcription in the comfort of your home.

Places and churches are listed in alphabetical order. Those places in the Status column marked Registers Available or AT Available means that the registers or Archdeacons Transcripts are available with the coordinator ready for assignment to a transcriber. The Years Completed column gives the range of years that have been transcribed, loaded into the database and are searchable. The Years in Progress column gives the range of years that are currently being transcribed and the name of the Transcriber.
